Royal Caribbean offers more itineraries starting and ending at different ports

The new offerings recently released by RCI Cruises (Royal Caribbean International) are a revolutionary idea new to the cruising industry. They allow for certain cruises to start at one port and end in another.

The most significant example is with the Enchantment of the Seas where the main home port is in Colon, Panama, but a substantial percentage of passengers board the ship in Cartagena, Colombia.

People can either cruise round trip through Panama or round trip through Colombia. Next winter this will apply to Grandeur of the Seas which is taking over that route.

The program will also spread to Asia this summer, where the Legend of the Seas will add a new home port in Busan, Korea to its cruises that are usually based out of Shanghai.
